Ok, let me just start off by saying I am not being paid to write this review. I know it may seem like it with all the doting I’m getting ready to do but trust me. I’m not a paid shill for Gaylord. I just really, really enjoyed my experience. In fact, it’s one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
My first cruise was in 2013. By my second in 2015, a co-worker took one look at me and declared I’d become one of “those people.” You know the type — loyal to the sea, willing to trade any vacation for a week (or two) with the sound of waves outside their cabin door. She called it a cult.
Honestly? If loving cruising makes me a cult member, hand me the lanyard and sign me up for the next meeting — I hear the snacks are top-tier, and the view beats any conference room.
